The conference site is located in Redbank, around 2 hours and 15 minutes from Melbourne airport. We’ll have a shuttle bus running on Saturday for pickups and Tuesday for drop-offs. Get ready for the journey of a lifetime!

Absolutely! We know some of you are traveling far and wide, so feel free to come early or linger a little longer. However, please note that you will need to organise your own food outside of Saturday breakfast - Tuesday dinner.

No, you’ll need to bring your own gear for a 4-day pass. We do have a limited number of tents available to hire on our event page, but this is an extra ticket cost.

A tent, bedding, crockery & cutlery (plate, bowl, spork, knife, mug, water bottle), a torch, water bottle, pen and notebook, warm layers for the evening, towel and toiletries, and all your positive energy!

Yes, every ticket includes meals! Our on-site chefs will be serving up wholesome plant-based meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bring snacks if you like, but remember—zero-waste is the way. If you have dietary restrictions, no problem! Just let us know when you book your ticket.

Definitely. We offer a family-friendly, drug and alcohol-free environment, complete with a special program just for kids.

Yes, but your furry friend will need to be on a lead at all times. Please keep in mind that the property isn't fully fenced, so be sure to keep an eye on them, and don’t forget those doggy bags.

We’re looking to curate a diverse and engaging range of workshops, presentations and entertainment suitable for a family friendly environment. This application form covers intellectual talks, practical workshops as well as visual and performing artists.
Please note that Newkind is a camping-style conference, however presenters are able to attend just for the day of their session or for the duration of the conference. Unlike most conferences, Newkind does not require presenters to pay for a ticket.
Applications will remain open until Friday 30th August and successful applicants will be notified by Monday 16th September.

Volunteering at Newkind is a unique and rewarding experience providing an opportunity to upskill, gain friendships, confidence and contribute to an incredible team and event. We frequently have volunteers returning because of how enriching and soul-nourishing the experience is.
